The temperature change occurring with use of the -4C Vent (No Fan) is based upon results from internal company testing. These results vary based upon installation method and laptop type.
In order to provide stability of use and optimal temperature control, line up the silicone seat to the hottest part of the notebook and use the provided double-stick tape to attach the -4C Vent to your laptop.
The enclosed double stick tape is extremely powerful and once it is attached, it is difficult to remove. Do not permanently lay the double stick tape without first ensuring proper placement on your computer.
Power Support's packaging does include a temporary tape adhesive for you to use to help determine the best positioning of the -4C Vent (No Fan).
Do not raise or carry the laptop by the -4C Vent (No Fan). Even when attached by the powerful double stick tape, carrying the laptop in this manner puts the computer at serious risk for harm.
